Tong Xixi once defended the city alone in place of her father and brother, but for the sake of her mother she hid all her military feats and married Zhan Beiwang as a dutiful wife. While her husband was away at war, she stayed home and used her dowry to support the entire General's Manor. Yet when he returned victorious, he demanded to take another woman as a secondary wife, breaking his vow of "no concubines." Xixi resolutely went to the palace to request a divorce. Afterward, she took up the Peach Blossom spear again, revived the Zhenbei Marquis's Manor, and found true love with Prince Bei Ming, Ta Ruomo.
