Under the thousand-year wager of the war god Ares, Sparta's king Leonidas and Persia's king Sassan are cursed into immortal werewolves and vampires. In the Middle Ages they meet again because of Helen, a young woman who bears the face of a figure from their past. Only her blood can keep the beast within them in check and kindle hope. Bound by a blood pact and a bloodsoaked destiny, the three are drawn into a final battle spanning a millennium, where love and destruction intertwine.
