To marry Bạch Vi Vi, Trần Huyền agrees to go to prison in his younger brother's place. In the dark cell, despite enduring every torture, he unexpectedly awakens the inheritance of the Dragon Vein, mastering medical and martial arts and the art of war, and becomes the uncrowned king known as the "Dragon Head". Five years after his release, Trần Huyền meets Liễu Băng Tuyền by chance. With a single glance, he sees through her deadly illness and saves her life. Following her to the Liễu family, he defeats three famous divine doctors one after another and fully cures the young lady. Despite the gratitude and vast wealth offered by the Liễu family, he refuses everything. Bringing a trillion-dollar gift to his fiancée, he is stunned to find Bạch Vi Vi with his younger brother Trần Hạo in a scheme to ruin him. Even more bitterly, he discovers he is not truly a child of the Trần family. The day Trần Huyền reveals his identity as the Dragon Head is the same day the century-old Trần family empire crumbles in an instant.
