Lu Ming is a live-in son-in-law of the Chu family, married for three years to Chu Shan, CEO of the Chu Group, yet constantly looked down upon by his mother-in-law Wang Xuemei and never even allowed to share a bed with his wife. When the Chu Group falls into a financial crisis, Hu Kai, CEO of the Wu Group, seizes the opportunity to pressure Chu Shan into marrying him. To save the company, Wang Xuemei forces Lu Ming to divorce, but he refuses and is thrown out of the Chu household. With nowhere to go, Lu Ming donates the money from selling scrap to a nursing home he once supported, only to discover that its manager, Old Yang, is a hidden master. After Old Yang passes away, his peerless medical and martial arts skills are passed down to Lu Ming. With newfound power, Lu Ming returns to the Chu family to save his marriage with Chu Shan, only to be confronted by Hu Kai and his men. In the clash, Lu Ming shows remarkable ability, and Wang Xuemei agrees to give him one week to rescue the company. For love and honor, Lu Ming races to raise two hundred million, overcoming countless hardships, and in the end not only saves the Chu Group but also wins Chu Shan's true heart, becoming her husband in name and in truth.
