The relatives grow anxious. When the auspicious hour arrives, Shen Nian texts her childhood sweetheart Gu Yan: You wanted to steal the bride, right? Come and get me. Gu Yan arrives on time with the wedding convoy and takes the bride away. Seven years ago Shen Nian chose someone else, and Gu Yan once said: If you regret it, remember to turn around. Seven years later, he has truly waited. Jiang Licheng's regret comes too late, as Shen Nian marries the man who prepared everything and waited for her for seven years.
