Pham Van Long and Tran Kieu Hoa married when they had nothing, vowing to build a home together. Five years later, pregnant with twins, Tran Kieu Hoa goes to Pham Van Long's company and sees him chatting cheerfully with business partner Ta Thu Trang. A wave of unease rises in her; convinced the love is gone from their marriage, she prepares divorce papers. Later, the three of them board a flight home, but the plane suffers an engine failure and must make an emergency landing, sending Tran Kieu Hoa into premature labor.
