The Fading Rose
51 episode · 51/51 tập
Rory, the most dazzling rose of Bei Cheng, is proud and headstrong. After her father remarries, she is placed under the "guidance" of Kyson, chairman of the chamber of commerce. Believing she has found a peaceful harbor, she gives him her whole heart and prepares to propose. But she discovers the man he truly loves is Lena, her stepmother's daughter, the pure white camellia. To protect Lena, Kyson repeatedly abandons Rory, leaving her disgraced and ruined; leaves her to survive a near-fatal accident alone; and even forces her to hand over the only keepsake of her birth mother to win the other woman's favor. In desperation, Rory strikes back and hurts Lena, and Kyson coldly throws her into prison. The rose of Bei Cheng withers. Rory's heart shatters. She turns away and becomes the "emergency bride" of Timothy Shen, young marshal of Nan Cheng. What seems like a dead end leads her into the shelter of a long-hidden, quiet love. Timothy cherishes and adores her, and his family heals her wounds with sincerity. While Rory finds true happiness with Timothy, Kyson realizes how terribly wrong he was. He regrets it madly, but the gates of Nan Cheng are sealed shut. He will never be able to reach the rose he once had.
