Three years ago, Lin Tri Hạ won the national Clinical Skills Championship but declined an invitation from the National Medical Research Institute, returning instead to Minh Đức Hospital, where her mother once worked, to fight on the front lines. Three years later, Gu Oản Ninh, wife of Hạ Cảnh Xuyên, Giang Thành's wealthiest man, suddenly suffers an amniotic fluid embolism. Lin Tri Hạ works for hours without rest, saving both mother and child, but is left nearly exhausted herself. As she reaches for a bag of glucose she bought with her own money, director Phương Chí Cương knocks it from her hands in front of everyone and falsely accuses her of hoarding emergency supplies. Tô Tình seizes the chance to claim credit for the lifesaving work. Eager to expand the hospital and needing the Hạ Group's support, Phương Chí Cương not only covers up the truth but also expels Lin Tri Hạ from the hospital. After leaving Minh Đức, Lin Tri Hạ catches her fiancé Lục Thần cheating with Diệp Phi. She decisively cancels his access cards, reclaims her assets, and ends the engagement. Qin Nguyệt, chairman of Hoa Khang Medical Group, recognizes her true identity and personally offers a generous salary, but Lin Tri Hạ politely declines. Meanwhile, Tô Tình's wrong treatment causes Gu Oản Ninh to collapse a second time. To keep up her image as a genius doctor, she steals Lin Tri Hạ's medical notebook and copies its protocols, temporarily stabilizing the patient but unable to wake her. Cornered, Tô Tình and Phương Chí Cương hide the fact that the patient is in deep coma and plot a reckless defibrillation to force her awake. At the critical moment, Lin Tri Hạ returns to the ICU and stops the second shock just in time. Emergency room footage, surgical audio recordings, and changing-room video kept by Hứa Ninh are released one after another, proving that Lin Tri Hạ is the one who truly saved Gu Oản Ninh, while Tô Tình is merely a notebook thief who stole credit and posed as a fraudulent genius.
