A Brothers' Promise
58 episode · 58/58 tập
After being discharged from the army, Ha Jianfeng, Li Dongbei, Old Pao and Lin Jiantong each set out to make a living. Ha Jianfeng, together with Li Dongbei, Old Pao and a group of injured former comrades, founded the Yuanfeng vegetable and fruit company, gradually carving out a foothold. Meanwhile, Lin Jiantong and his wife Liu Fenghe quietly ran a small vegetable stall, working tirelessly to make ends meet. Disaster struck when Lin Jiantong was diagnosed with liver cancer and passed away, leaving his wife and children with no one to rely on. Without her pillar of support, Liu Fenghe quickly became the target of Zhao Diandong, head of the market management, who repeatedly pressured and harassed her. Cornered with no other options, she turned to Ha Jianfeng, placing her last hope in the promise the brothers once made.
