Pearl and Thorns
63 episode · 63/63 tập
Heroine Tham Minh Chau is a woman of kind heart, independence and self-reliance. Through her own efforts, she revived and grew the family's Van Thuong garment business into a thriving enterprise. While raising two children of her adopted younger sister, she unexpectedly helps Tan Vu, a gifted girl forced to earn a living by peddling goods on the street due to poverty. Many years later, Tham Minh Chau is falsely accused of plagiarism and of seizing company shares by her own ungrateful adopted children, and even her adopted younger sister is the mastermind. The three join forces, using the livelihoods of Tham Minh Chau's employees to pressure her. Facing adversity, Tham Minh Chau remains unshaken, searching every way to raise money to solve the problem. Even when her father is injured in a car accident and needs money for treatment, she grits her teeth and refuses to compromise. However, her adopted sister and the ungrateful children grow ever more aggressive, humiliating and forcing her to sign over company shares. Just as Tham Minh Chau reaches her lowest point, Tan Vu, the girl she helped thirteen years ago, returns as the chairwoman of a leading design company and comes to support her. With Tan Vu's help, Tham Minh Chau teaches the ungrateful children and her treacherous adopted sister an unforgettable lesson. Using her own ability, she even wins back a new cooperation contract from her adopted sister, reaffirming her top position in the design industry. Tan Vu's appearance also brings Tham Minh Chau to her father, Tan Ba Nghiep, chairman of the Tan Group and currently the richest man. Unexpectedly, the adopted sister, hearing about Tan Ba Nghiep, mistakenly believes she has latched onto the richest man and continues trying to suppress Tham Minh Chau. In the end, with the protection and support of Tan Vu and Tan Ba Nghiep, Tham Minh Chau completely defeats her adopted sister and the two ungrateful children. Her original kindness also brings her unexpected happiness.
