A witch cursed Prince Alexander to sleep for a hundred years, and only a kiss from a Jones daughter can break the spell. Catherine was once engaged to Prince Arthur, but he chose her half-sister instead. Catherine enters the Vandross Castle and uses a three-night ritual to wake Alexander. His soul once took the form of a bat, quietly protecting her since childhood. The two fall in love. Arthur bursts into the wedding but is rejected by Catherine. The two princes duel on a cliff, and she firmly chooses Alexander. Arthur falls into a sea of fire and dies. The couple finally marries, sealing their bond with blood and pledging their hearts.
