60 episode · 60/60 tập
Beast King Aelund carries a lethal thunder curse: any living being he touches turns to ash. The human girl Vera is the only one who can withstand his touch. To break the curse, he takes Vera's mother hostage and forces her into marriage. Vera hates him, yet sees his sincerity: he heals her and protects her, and when she walks barefoot over thorns praying for him, his anguish knows no bounds. The wedding night may break the curse, but Vera will die from the backlash. Aelund prepares an antidote, only for the cruel Lyra to swap it with poison. On their wedding night the curse is lifted, but Vera collapses and never wakes. For six years Aelund has kept grieving vigil at her grave. Yet Vera is not dead: she is raising twin children with golden beast ears in a human slum. One snowy day, their daughter clings to a passing man's leg and cries, "Daddy!" Aelund has found his lost wife and children. Still, Vera cannot forgive his deception. At the same time, the father of his old enemy has drawn a poisoned bow, vowing that blood debt will be repaid with blood...
