You Never Saw Me in Your Eyes
22 episode · 22/22 tập
At the wedding, Josephine watches Chiara catch the bridal bouquet and jokingly vows to run away with groom Reese. The whole hall bursts into laughter. Remembering how Reese once rested his head on Chiara's lap during a bachelor party, and now casually claims it was just a joke, Josephine grabs the microphone and declares that he belongs to her. Even her future mother-in-law sides with Chiara, and Josephine, alone and resolute, walks away from the man her parents sacrificed their lives to save. What follows is a string of misfortunes: Reese spreads false rumors using AI-faked images, Chiara secretly uses her credit card to buy a handbag, her grandmother doesn't receive timely emergency care, and cyberbullying costs her job. At the police station, she makes him pay for his actions and cuts all ties for good. Auden has stood by her side all along, while Reese's belated apology can only reach her cold, unforgiving back.
