In 2100, volcanic upheaval awakens giant monsters, pushing humanity to the brink of survival. Nations race to develop giant intelligent mechas. Thanks to chief engineer and top hacker Bryan Smith, the Titan Group is one step from success. Yet on her first day as acting chair, Alexandra Sloan mistakes Bryan for an incompetent freeloader, fires him for dozing off after an all-night overtime shift, and promotes the fraudulent engineer Ryan Smith instead. Ryan not only steals the title of XO Genius, Bryan’s technology and research results, but also falsely accuses Bryan of theft. When Bryan is cornered, Alice Morgan, chair of Aurora Group, recruits him with company shares and a salary of 40 million. Bryan then builds his own mecha: the Savior. At the global press conference, Ryan activates the Titan mecha, but a system flaw Bryan had warned about sends it completely out of control. Just as monsters attack again, Bryan activates the Savior to suppress Titan and turn the tide. Sloan finally wakes up to realize she has thrown away the Titan Group’s greatest trump card and driven off humanity’s true savior. In the end, the Titan Group declares bankruptcy, while Bryan not only wins a military cooperation contract but also becomes engaged to Alice.
