A Secret Romance with the Duke
64 episode · 64/64 tập
In Regency-era London, Elle, an orphan from the slums, is bought by Duke Alistair and made to pose as his sister Estelle in order to wed Percy, freeing him from an engagement to the delusional Beatrix. The deal eventually turns into forbidden love between the two pseudo-siblings. However, an secret execution order the Duke once prepared for Elle becomes a seed of disaster. At the engagement ball, Beatrix exposes Elle’s true identity. Believing the Duke intends to kill her, Elle desperately flees. As Beatrix aims a gun at her, the Duke throws himself in front of Elle to take the bullet and confesses that the execution order was never signed. In the end, they discover matching childhood scars, revealing that fate had bound them together long before this bargain.
