Linh Ly is an ambitious young woman whose life is always short on money. Before an important job interview, she decisively breaks up with her ex, Manh Khoi, a controlling and domineering man. To make sure he gives up on her completely, Linh Ly impulsively kisses a stranger right in the middle of a restaurant and pretends they are a couple. That man is Tri Hao. An unexpected night changes everything. The next day, Linh Ly arrives late for her interview and is stunned to discover the new CEO is none other than Manh Khoi. He still hires her, but behind it lie dangerous schemes. Soon after, Tri Hao gets in touch and proposes a deal: Linh Ly will pose as his fiancée to deal with his powerful mother, in exchange for money and a life of luxury. Overwhelmed, Linh Ly confides in her close coworker Linh An about the two men who have turned her life upside down. Strangely, Linh An is also talking about a mysterious man… and the two of them soon realize it is the very same person.
