Giang Thần is the richest man in the country, haunted by regret for losing his biological daughter many years ago. After learning of his daughter's whereabouts, he sets aside his work to attend school, but is hired by orphan Mễ Mễ to pose as her father at a parent-teacher meeting. As they spend time together, Giang Thần gradually comes to understand and accept Mễ Mễ. But fate plays a cruel trick: Mễ Mễ is adopted by Giang Thần's cousin Giang Vũ and his wife Tô Vũ Tình, who have ulterior motives—they need a bone marrow match for their son. Giang Thần donates blood to save Mễ Mễ, only to fall into the trap set by Giang Vũ and his wife, nearly losing her. After many hardships, Giang Thần uncovers the truth, drives the impostors away, and is finally reunited with Mễ Mễ.
