The Freshman's Secret
17 episode · 17/17 tập
Sam Thi is a 19-year-old freshman. Beautiful but poor. Her father tells her to sell her body. Her mother suggests she work at a bar. Overdue tuition and no way out, she accepts the offer from Professor Dang Huu Duy, an African: $5,000 a month for companionship. But Dang Huu Duy has other plans. He injects drugs into her, ties her up and films everything. He doesn't stop there. He uses the videos to blackmail her into delivering packages—drugs, money, things she doesn't want to know about. When she thinks she is alone, Thu Minh, the quiet girl from the dormitory, appears. Thu Minh rescues her from Dang Huu Duy in the dark parking lot. She holds Sam Thi through her withdrawal. She becomes the only person Sam Thi trusts. Until Sam Thi finds messages on Thu Minh's phone. Messages proving Thu Minh was never simply helping her. She has been positioning herself. She waits for Sam Thi to fall so she can catch her—and own her.
